Information You Submit
Text entered in a search form, such as a name, phone number, or address, goes to the outside provider that supplies the results. We do not save a separate copy of a search on our servers. A message sent to us contains only what the sender chooses to provide, and we use it to answer that message.
Automatic Technical Data
Standard server logs may record an IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. We review aggregate patterns to maintain the site and learn which material visitors use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and, where present, advertising measurement.
How We Use Data
The limited data described above supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We neither sell a visitor list nor create individual visitor profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links may lead to City of Manhattan Beach portals, Los Angeles County and California offices, court systems, libraries, or outside search services. Each destination follows its own privacy terms. Its policy, not ours, governs data entered there. The same distinction applies to sponsored results supplied by an outside company.
When Data Is Shared
Hosting and support vendors process technical logs for us. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic data noted above. We also respond to valid legal process. Visitor data is not otherwise shared.
How Data Is Protected
An encrypted connection serves the site, and technical logs are retained only as long as needed for the stated purposes. Because visitors do not create accounts, this site holds no visitor password or account profile.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. Contact us if a minor submitted such information so it can be deleted.
California Data Rights
The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, may provide rights to know, correct, delete, and opt out of certain uses of personal information. Because we retain very little, a request usually involves checking contact messages and technical logs. Use the Contact page to submit one. Government records held by Manhattan Beach, Los Angeles County, or California agencies remain outside our control, so correction or removal requests for those files must go to the custodian.
